1. Scope and operator
AdPole is operated by Fermats Retail Private Limited. This policy applies to the AdPole website, authenticated creative-research workspace, Chrome extension, extension pairing flow and support communications.
AdPole is a workspace tool for deliberately saving, organizing, tagging, searching and retrieving advertising and creative references. It is not designed to collect private source-platform account data.
2. Information we handle
Account and workspace information
When you create or use an account, AdPole may handle:
- your name, email address and authentication user ID;
- workspace name, workspace membership and role;
- profile settings and workspace invitations; and
- the names and last-used times of connected browser profiles.
User-selected creative information
When you deliberately save a creative or upload a file, AdPole may handle the information you selected and the public source information available with it, including:
- selected text, ad copy, headlines and calls to action;
- selected images, video previews, user-initiated frame captures and uploaded media;
- selected hyperlinks, source links and landing-page links;
- advertiser, creator or brand information shown by the source;
- source platform, source item ID, format, dates, status and other available source metadata;
- Boards, Folders, Tags, Notes and archive status added in AdPole; and
- who saved or organized a reference and when.
Some sources use access-controlled video delivery. In those cases AdPole may store only a poster, preview, user-initiated frame and source link rather than the source video.
Operational and security-related information
AdPole records limited operational information needed to run and protect the service, such as capture outcome, source platform, source URL or item ID, error code, request duration, token last-used time, timestamps and hosting or security logs. We may also receive information you include in a support message.
3. Chrome extension
The extension is designed for user-initiated capture. Saving starts when you use an AdPole Save control. Content scripts identify a saveable item on a supported page and send the selected creative to the AdPole background worker, which communicates with the AdPole service.
- The extension does not request Chrome's cookies permission.
- The extension does not request Chrome's browsing-history permission.
- The extension does not request access to every website.
- AdPole does not ask for source-platform passwords, cookies or session tokens.
- Private source-platform content is not an intended capture source.
Pairing creates a dedicated, revocable extension credential for one user and workspace. The extension stores that credential and local preferences in Chrome local storage. The server stores a cryptographic hash of the credential rather than the credential itself.
4. How we use information
We use information described above to:
- create and authenticate accounts;
- maintain workspace membership and role-based access;
- connect and revoke Chrome extension profiles;
- save, store, organize, tag, search and retrieve creative references;
- preserve available media and source context;
- prevent duplicate saves and diagnose failed captures;
- operate, secure, maintain and improve the service; and
- respond to support, privacy and account requests.
AdPole's current V1 workflow does not depend on AI analysis of your saved library. We do not use source-platform credentials because AdPole does not collect them.
5. Service providers and international processing
AdPole relies on infrastructure providers to deliver the service:
- Supabase for authentication and production database services;
- Railway for application hosting;
- Cloudflare R2 for private, S3-compatible media storage; and
- Resend for transactional email delivery where enabled.
These providers process information on our behalf under their service terms and may process information in countries other than yours. We choose providers and access controls appropriate to their role and share only information needed for that role.
6. Retention and deletion
Account, workspace and saved creative information is generally retained while the relevant account or workspace is active and as needed to provide the service. A connected-browser token remains usable until it expires or is revoked; revoked-token records and limited operational records may be retained for security and reliability.
AdPole supports archive and restore for creative references. Archiving is not deletion. To request account or data deletion, contact us using the address below. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance or backup integrity.
7. Your choices
- Choose which creatives to save and which Boards receive them.
- Edit Notes, Tags and organization information in your workspace.
- Archive and restore saved creative references.
- Disconnect a Chrome profile and revoke its extension credential in Settings.
- Ask a workspace administrator about membership or removal.
- Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information.
Your use of third-party source sites remains subject to those sites' terms and privacy practices.
8. Security
AdPole uses workspace-scoped access controls, database row-level security where applicable, private media storage, short-lived signed media links and revocable extension credentials. No internet service can promise absolute security; please protect your account password and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material and the circumstances require it.
